This is a US Navy MK2 knife from 1942 that I restored by the customer's request which is a good friend.
The knife was resurfaced and blued. The handle got a new stacked leather handle and pommel.
There are pictures of the whole process. It felt amazing bringing this knife from history back to its natural glory.
If anyone is interested in a custom hand forged knife please let me know. The BBQ season is fast approaching.
Have a great and safe New Year!!

Here is another one I was working that I was now able to finish for a customer and now friend.
After a few ideas I designed this hatchet for his son's bday.
The steel is 5160 high carbon steel. The handle is made from hickory wood then stained and wrapped in paracord for better grip.
Added some meaningful lettering and design to the handle as requested.
