Just a few of the meals I ate over 9 days in Miami and Belize😋

I did my best to keep the same balanced approach I do at home — focusing on every meal having a protein, fiber, carb & healthy fat source — while allowing for a few more treats and desserts than usual. And I snacked a little less than I do at home because meal portions were larger.

The old me used to go for the most indulgent thing on the menu and/or feel obligated to clean my plate simply because “it’s vacation.” And I’d always come home feeling pretty crappy or like I needed to hop on an extreme diet.

Breaking out of that all-or-nothing mentality has allowed me to still enjoy vacation to the fullest, come home feeling pretty great and get right back into my usual routine.

Traveling doesn’t have to completely throw you off! A little bit of intention goes a long way.

A lot of coaches will tell you that if you want to be consistent, you should find a method of training that you enjoy.

I agree, AND … I also know that strength training might not feel quite as fun as other forms of exercise in the beginning.

So when does it get fun?

When you hit a PR, unlock a new skill, when day-to-day life feels easier, or when your confidence builds 🚀

Also when you DECIDE it should be fun 🙃

What was the moment or thing for you when it started to get a little fun??👇🏻
