We came from across the country, but we came together as ONE! ❤️🖤💚

The 2026 NAAGA Empowerment Summit was more than just a weekend of training and competition. It was a weekend of reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, sharing knowledge, cheering each other on, and pushing ourselves to become better.

We trained together. We competed against one another. We laughed, we learned, and we celebrated each other's victories. Whether you were a seasoned shooter or still building your skills, there was something special about being surrounded by people who genuinely wanted to see each other succeed.

Different chapters. Different backgrounds. One shared purpose.

We came to sharpen our skills, but we left with so much more.

And THAT is what made this Summit so special!

Members of That Gun Talk Gun Club (TGT) attended National African American Gun Association 2026 National Summit. It was filled with education, leadership, training, and emergency preparedness. We’re proud to celebrate our members’ accomplishments and contributions!

TGT’s October Drill is live and it is 🔥🔥

We’re blending precision and speed this month. This 24‑round drill pushes your marksmanship under time pressure, forcing you to expose and fix weaknesses in your sight alignment, trigger control, and draw speed.

The Setup: 🔫 Range: 3–7 yds 🎯 Target: Four 2" dots #️⃣ Rounds: 24 (6 shots per dot) ⌛ Par Time: 10–15 secs per string

The Drill:
🔹 Set timer for 10–15 seconds.
🔹 On the buzzer, draw (holster* or compressed ready) and fire 6 shots at dot #1.
🔹 Record your hits (shots past the buzzer are misses).
🔹 Repeat for the remaining 3 dots.

Train safely, log your hits, and aim to tighten your groups without dropping your speed.
*If your range prohibits drawing from a holster, start from a compressed ready position instead.

This one is all about fundamentals—and pushing your limits.

📍 3–7 yards
🔫 From compressed ready
🎯 Fire 2 shots fast—but keep them controlled

Goal: Keep everything in the white… ideally inside the circle.

Misses? Don’t just shoot—analyze:
👁️ Sight alignment
🤏 Trigger control
📉 Muzzle movement

If you’re crushing it, level up:

➡️ Increase distance
➡️ Decrease split times

💥 Run at least 25 pairs (50 rounds)

Control > speed. Every time.
