When I first saw the amazing ‘s Campaign, my first thought was a future-focused one:

“Heck yeah, I definitely plan to age playfully!”

Then, my next thought was more in the moment - and even better:

“And, I’m already doing it!”

To me, is about continuing to play in the ways I have always loved AND adding new ones to the list. Here’s a sampling of my ‘playlist’—-

Continuing to relish the never-ending joys and silliness:

Swinging on swings
Doing the Electric Slide!
Playing Jax …even tho my claim to jax fame is no longer valid
Talking to the birds, butterflies and even some of the bugs I see when I garden
Acting as silly as my dog when playing with him (and sometimes even when I’m not)

Enjoying the recent additions:

Sailing (although, if I’m being honest, I’d have to say that it’s 63.9999% fun, and 36.1% “what the heck are we doing?!?!”)
Vespa-ing on an island in Croatia (full disclosure: all I did was have my hubs take a photo of me in the driver’s seat; he did all of the driving 🤪)
Playing recorder duets with my sister - our parents taught us as kids, and it brings back great memories to play the 60s/70s folk songs they loved.

Getting excited about the new ones on deck:

(Re)taking piano lessons — I added the parentheses cause one could (should) argue that I never learned how to play when I took lessons as a kid cause I NEVER EVER practiced. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Voice lessons — but, just to be clear, there is ABSOLUTELY NO chance that I will ever learn to carry a tune. The poor teacher…
Going to as many of the farm animal sanctuaries that I follow on IG as I can— , want to join me??!! 2 of my faves: .the.goat and

Oh how I loved making this post! Thank you for continuing to give us such beautiful ways to celebrate, share and take pride in our aging experience. 💕
