When you’re surrounded by people who show up, work hard, and refuse to settle, you start raising the bar too.

Find people who push you to be better. Then return the favor.

New cycle. New opportunities to get stronger. 💪

This week we kick off a 13-week strength cycle centered around two foundational lifts: the squat and the bench press.

Over the next three months we’ll be attacking these movements from every angle with tempo work, pause work, positional strength, and plenty of opportunities to build a stronger, more resilient body. Strength isn’t just about moving more weight—it’s about owning every inch of the movement.

Enjoy some scenes from another awesome week at PPF:🔥 Coaches accidentally matching (again...)

🏋️ Lots of strength being built

Whether you’re chasing a new PR, building confidence under the bar, or just showing up consistently, these next 13 weeks are going to be fun.

Let’s get to work.

Last month, 26 members earned their spot on the Commitment Crew. This month? We grew to 29.

That might not sound like a huge jump, but it represents something powerful: more people making time for themselves, more people prioritizing their health, and more people proving that consistency works.

The truth is that results don’t come from one perfect workout, one strict week of eating, or one burst of motivation. They come from showing up again and again, especially on the days you don’t feel like it.

Congratulations to everyone who checked in 15+ times during May and earned their place on this month’s Commitment Crew. You are setting the standard for what it means to invest in yourself and lead by example.

Enjoy some shots of as many people as I could find on my camera roll 📸😆

Let’s see if we can make that list even bigger in June. 👊

🚨 TEST WEEK IS HERE 🚨

After weeks of putting in the work, we’re wrapping up our strength cycle and it’s time to see what all that consistency has built. This week we’ll be testing top-end strength on our major lifts and giving ourselves a chance to celebrate the progress we’ve earned. Met-cons remain short with plenty of accessory work. Extra credit is loaded with much needed stretches for recovery.

The best part? Nobody does it alone.

Swipe through for some scenes from the last couple of weeks: packed classes, an absolutely loaded Murph on Memorial Day, coaches throwing down at HYROX NYC, athletes crushing workouts, and a community that continues to show up for each other day after day.

Whether you’re chasing a PR, lifting a weight you’ve never touched before, or simply proving to yourself that you’re stronger than you were a few months ago, this is your week.

Now it’s time to cash in those reps. 💪

Let’s pack the classes, bring the energy, and finish this cycle the way we started it—together.

🔥 See you in class and bring a friend!
🔥 Let’s see what you’ve got.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a workout—it’s a reminder of the freedoms we enjoy because others were willing to give everything.

We’re especially thankful for the community we have here at PPF. The friendships, support, and shared experiences we build together. Whether you’re spending today with family, friends, or taking on Murph with your PPF fam, take a moment to reflect on those who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday.

Murph is meant to be challenging—but it’s also meant to be for everyone.

That’s why we offer multiple partition and scaling options. Modifying a workout isn’t about making it easier—it’s about making it appropriate for your current fitness level so you can move well, stay safe, and accomplish something you can be proud of.

Whether you tackle the full Murph, Half Murph, banded pull-ups, ring rows, or a different rep scheme, you’re still honoring the workout and sharing in the experience alongside your community.

At Philly Personal Fitness, Murph has become one of our favorite annual traditions. It’s a chance to challenge ourselves, support one another, remember the meaning behind the workout, and celebrate afterward with great people and great food.

No matter your fitness level, there’s a version of Murph for you. Show up, do the work, and be part of something bigger than yourself.

Who’s joining us on Memorial Day? 🇺🇸💪

Last week before testing week 😤💪

The vibes are high, the lifts are moving FAST, and this community is showing up stronger than ever. From packed classes and athletes crushing their sessions, to coaches and clients putting in work for upcoming HYROX races, the energy inside PPF has been unreal lately.

Huge shoutout to our two teams who headed down to Delaware this past weekend to represent Philly Personal Fitness. Proud is an understatement 👏🖤❤️

Now we roll into one of the best traditions of the year — Memorial Day Murph 🇺🇸
A workout that challenges us physically, honors those who gave everything, and reminds us what this community is really about: showing up for each other.

Stick around after Murph for the pizza and BBQ, good food, and even better people. These are the moments that make PPF more than just a gym.

Who’s ready to test next week? 🔥

85% week is HERE 😤

Now these strength sets are going to be a grind. Heavy enough to challenge you, controlled enough to build confidence, muscle, and resilience. The kind of work that reshapes your body from the inside out.

This week’s lineup is packed with big lifts, tough sets, full classes, and a whole lot of people getting after it together 👊

Also… keep an eye out 👀
We had a blast filming content for the upcoming Asbury Park Summer Games this August ☀️🏋️ Expect good energy, hard work, and a few moments that remind you why training with a community hits different.

Now grab a barbell, trust the process, and let’s see what that 85% can do.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the strong moms and moms-to-be in our PPF community ❤️

Thank you for everything you do — the early mornings, the late nights, the endless support, and the strength you show every single day both inside and outside the gym. Your ability to carry so much while still showing up for yourself and your family is nothing short of powerful.

Strong isn’t just about lifting weight.
It’s about resilience. Patience. Leadership. Love. And showing up even when life gets hard.

Today we celebrate the women who inspire us daily with their strength, energy, and heart. We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re proud to have you as part of this community.
