With the recent announcement of the 2026 Eagles Cheerleaders, it appears that all of the NFL cheer squads we anticipate seeing on the field this season have been formally introduced. 👏🏈📣 There is just one weekend left in the preseason, and it seems like a good time to honor some exceptional past NFL cheerleaders in our "Hall of Fame" highlight. Last year, we chose twenty outstanding former NFL cheerleaders and directors for our inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 2025. This season we are using a voting process to select the newest members. We have nominated 32 Hall of Fame candidates and split them into four groups of eight. To minimize recency bias, we tried to generally group the candidates by era. A poll for each group will be posted in our story beginning tomorrow. All votes will count the same unless there is a tie, in which case the current/former cheerleader votes will be used to break the tie. Our HOF voting process will consist of two rounds. The eight candidates with the most votes in each group in the first round of voting will become members of our Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The candidates with the least votes in each group will be nominated again next year. The remaining candidates who received the 2nd or 3rd most votes in the first round will be regrouped in four groups of four for Round 2. The eight candidates that finish 1st and 2nd in their respective group in the 2nd Round will also be members of our HOF Class of 2026. The others will be nominated again next year. The candidate groups are shown on the slides along with some very basic information about each candidate, such as which squad they cheered for or directed, the years they were in the league, and whether they represented their squad at the Pro Bowl or have been inducted into the NFL cheer alumni or their own squad's Hall of Fame. We have no doubt that every one of these candidates deserve a spot in our Hall of Fame highlight, so voters are really just choosing who they want to see recognized first. Philadelphia Eagles announce 2026 Eagles Cheerleaders The team will make its official debut at Eagles Training Camp Public Practice on August 25.

PPFCA has been invited to perform at the LeadingAge Annual Meeting as part of their Pre-Game Tailgate Lunch, and we’d LOVE you to join us!

As an alumni family proudly representing 7 Decades of Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders, this opportunity feels especially meaningful! We’re excited to support LeadingAge and its mission to be a trusted voice for aging, while celebrating the energy, connection, and spirit that continue throughout every stage of life.

We’re to put together a fun, enthusiastic group representing seven decades of our PPFCA alumni family and show everyone that Philly spirit has NO age limit! 🦅💚

Participants will receive:
✨ Lunch and a dedicated space for our group to gather
✨ Parking passes
✨ Tickets providing access to all three days of the LeadingAge event
✨ An opportunity during lunch to mingle and connect with CEOs, managers, and other industry leaders

🦅 PERFORMANCE
We’re planning to bring back “Whoomp! (There It Is)” from our Miami Reunion performance, along with “Fly, Eagles Fly” to get the crowd going!
And, we will be wearing our Sequin alumni dresses for this performance. (Please purchase ASAP if you haven’t already so it arrives in time for the performance.)
