Join us in congratulating our superstar team of riders, staff, & equines who participated in last weekend’s Therapeutic Riding Division of the 2026 Devon Horse Show 👏🏆!! Between our total of 16 riders and 4 horses, our competitors all arrived with strong spirits and made the absolute most out of the dreary weather, performing at their best and tackling challenges as they came. A special shoutout to riders Aurora Clark for being awarded Heritage Lead Line Champion, and Emily Estilow as Reserve Champion for the Anne Joyce Cochrane Trophy! And of course a very special thank you to for hosting this wonderful event as always 🙌✨ We are so proud of everyone for your hard work & your commitment to representing Pegasus TRA as the # 1 therapy barn in Philly 😉!

We are so delighted by the successful 10-week program that we were lucky enough to run in partnership with the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf this spring! 🐴🌸

Designing curriculum each week within our mounted & unmounted EAL programming, we crafted coordinated rotations in the classroom, barn, & arena — always specially adapted to our specific participants’ needs.

It was a joy to share the healing and empowering potential of our herd with their wonderful students and staff, who met us with so much enthusiasm and so much to teach us all, also 🤟

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our Pegasus volunteers who gifted us additional hours of their support and time each Monday to help us make this unique programming possible 🙏

We’ve very much missed having her around at the barn as often now that she’s putting her teaching magic to work as a full-time school teacher, but that never changes how indispensable she is to the Pegasus TRA team! Thank you to the Pennsylvania SPCA for their continued partnership with the Pegasus TRA Program. Throughout a 6-week unmounted EAL program, 10 teens in the Pre-Vet Apprenticeship Program learned a variety of equine skills including leading, equine nutrition, and basic horse anatomy.
In addition to this 6-week program, we also welcomed a different cohort of teenage males for a special one-night visit where participants had the opportunity to meet the horses, groom, learn basic horse body language, and even try their hand at leading through a small obstacle course.
We are incredibly appreciative of this continued partnership and the opportunity to provide hands-on experiences that inspire and educate the next generation of pre-veterinary professionals!
