Don’t let em put you in a fitness funk y’all! The reason why you’re not working out, is NOT because you can’t live up to their standards… it’s because you haven’t really thought about your own standards. You deserve to move better… feel better… and believe you’re sexy again. You deserve all 3 for the appeasement of yourself… and no one else.

Are you in the Fitness Funk??? The Fitness Funk is the state of feeling too intimidated to start working out. Sometimes your in the funk when you’re a newbie just getting started out… or just as frequently, you’re in the funk because you used to be in shape and now you’re too intimidated to start back up because you’re afraid of seeing how much you’ve fallen off. Move better... Feel better... And believe that you're sexy. I know it's the start of a new year and everyone is excited to get moving again. But don't lose focus. The real reason why are you working out is not to prove anything to anyone else. It's not even to prove something to yourself. Is really about self care. With regards to Fitness self-care is really all about moving better feeling better and truly believing that you're sexy not matter what you look like.

My favorite part of working with people who are new to boot camps is showing them that every exercise has a modification that fits their current level of fitness and capabilities of their body. Fitness should be for all because we all literally have a gym built inside of our bodies. Give a shout out below to any trainers you know who looks out for fitness newbies!
