I am saddened to hear this news. Carl was a part of the PBLA family in the early to mid-1990s. He and his brother, Chris, played on my teams, the Outlaws (no relation to the current Outlaws) and later the Renegades.

Carl was not only a great player and a natural leader, but, more importantly, a truly amazing human being. I feel fortunate to have known him and to have shared the floor with him.

My thoughts and condolences are with Chris, Carl’s family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, my friend.
