For over 110 years, Mercersburg Academy has been fielding exceptional track and field teams. Mercersburg competes in the MAPL, Middle Atlantic Prep League.
Over those years we have produced 17 Olympians and numerous collegiate competitors. Our year round facilities and competition schedule is designed to help you fulfill your potential as an athlete and a student.

Our hearts are heavy following the passing of Charles H. Moore Jr. '47, an Olympic gold medalist and a true giant of Mercersburg. Charlie, who died October 8 at age 91, was a great champion, philanthropist, sportsman, executive, and dedicated supporter of the greater good. His many roles included leader of multinational companies; director of athletics at his collegiate alma mater, Cornell University; emeritus member of Mercersburg's Board of Regents; and executive director of the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy.

We’re on hold for now, and honestly we may not even have a spring 2020.
It’s necessary.
For high school athletes, it’s taking away an opportunity that they can never get back. We do what we can and we hope for the best!
What Losing The TF Season Would Mean To Athletes There are so many ways in which the suspension or cancellation of a season will impact young student-athletes
