FA CUP FINAL WATCH EVENT: IMPORTANT EVENT INFO BELOW! PLEASE READ!

Many of you have already seen Chelsea have promoted our FA Cup Final watch event on their social channels. Now its our turn to give everyone a run down of whats going on.

This is an all-age event; those under-21 will need to be with an adult however

Firstly to all our new followers: Welcome! We saw an influx of new followers since Chelsea posted about this event, especially followers who are in the Delaware Valley and may be hearing about us for the first time. We are Philadelphia's Official Chelsea Supporters Club. We are a Platinum Tier club and have been officially recognized since 2010, though we have existed as a group going back to the mid 90s. We meet for nearly every Chelsea match each season.

About the match day: For our regular match goers, especially anyone who has come for a big match or cup final; it won't be much different. We expect a big crowd, and have already noted with the staff at Tir Na Nog to expect a big crowd, so they can bring in enough staff, but please be patient as it will be a busy day.

The event is being promoted by Chelsea, but hosted and run by us. This is an opportunity for the Club to promote our supporters group. They have recently done colabs with the Chicago, Houston and LA supporters clubs exactly like this one.

During the event, we will be taking photos and shooting video during the match to record the atmosphere, reactions to goals and big moments and celebrations. We will be sending that material to Chelsea's social team in real time who will in turn be processing it and posting it on their feed during the match. We might try to do some quick interviews with supporters to talk about their history with the club. We will try to do this pre-match and around half-time. If you are interested, get in touch with us. Do note by attending you will be videoed and photographed and you may appear on Chelsea's social feed. Also note, even if we do photo or video you, you might not appear on their feed. We want everyone to be authentic and passionate, just know for this, Chelsea has final say on what content will get posted on their side.

We will be in the front half of the bar as usually; the Man City OSC group meet up at the same bar, but will be in the back half. We have plenty of banter back and forth with them, but we do get along with them and it does add to a lively atmosphere.

As for the event itself: We will be getting in around 9am to set up our flags, scarfs and such.

We will start filming and photographing fans arriving and the match build up between 910 and 10am, as well as attempting any supporters interviews.

During match play, we will continue to film to capture reactions to big moments, goals and club chants/songs.

At half time, we are going to gather everyone together either around the bar, or out in the alley in front of the bar for a group photo with our club flags, and for a quick group video.

At the conclusion of the match, we may try to get another group photo, especially if we have some silverware to celebrate.

Lastly, as many have been asking for awhile, we just got a new order of Philly Blues shirts in (like the Club World Cup ones); and we will have them on saturday, as well as club scarfs and pins. We'll have them at the front table.

All in all, we want everyone to have a great time, be passionate, but be respectful too. This is a great opportunity for us as a supporters club to once again show off how Philly brings it and has one of the best Chelsea support in the US. We've had a great relationship with the Club, and its shown as Chelsea has come to Philly for so many events, and we expect many more opportunities in the future.

If you have an questions about saturday or need any information on joining the Philly Blues or assistance with things, please reach out via our DMs on social (we all check these more frequently, so we will see it quicker)

Thanks all!

Hey all!

No official meet up for Monday’s 10am match. Kind of early for a work day and we know many can’t make it, so not asking the Nog to open early.

We will be meeting bright and early on Saturday for a 730 match up with Liverpool!

Massive thanks to everyone who came out to Cavs for yesterday’s match. Lots of new faces, lots old friends. Not the result we wanted but glad to see the support you all bring.

Stay tuned for more match updates as we work toward an FA Cup and a spot in Europe.

Join us for the Tir Na Nog Derby!

This Sunday, we take on Man City and those folks on the other side of the bar in light blue. Every match matters as we push to end this campaign by clinching a spot in Europe next season; and this one always has a lively atmosphere. So come down and get loud!

An important update about tomorrow’s 9am match with Crystal Palace.

With the impeding storm schedule to begin over night, we’ve been in touch with our partners at about what the plan is for the Pub.

As of now: they do plan to be open, but it is tentative and this could change based on the conditions tomorrow morning and the ability of the staff to get in. We are in touch with them and should they need to close we will relay that on socials.

We do urge our members to use caution and best judgement if planning to come in tomorrow should the Nog be open. If you normally have to drive to get here, we strongly suggest you reconsider. Many of our members are within walking or a few subway stops from the Nog, we still urge you all to use best judgement. Don’t take an unnecessary risk if you don’t need to.

So, stay tunned and stay safe and keep the blue flag flying high!

We are back at Tir Na Nog tomorrow for a London Derby, as Chelsea face off against Arsenal.

We hope to see you all for a big one.

Up the Blues!
