It will cover FOUR hot topics in Philly sports and ONE of the hottest topics blazing through sports media in general. I am sure there will be weeks with three and two or some sort of combination. It’s hard not to feel demoralized for Andrew Painter right now. The time that was meant to be spent developing was spent rehabbing Tommy John surgery. Now the lack of development is showing through at the major league level. By no means does this mean it is the end for Painter as a prospect. But right now you just feel bad for the time that was robbed from him.

The Rocky Statue curse continues and carries over from football to futbol 🤯
Ecuador fans packed out The Linc and turned it a stunning yellow. Philadelphia was on full display for the world to see in their first host match of the World Cup and it was beautiful
But alas, despite the fan fare, nobody can survive draping their jersey on the Rocky statue. Feel bad for the Ecuadorian faithful. They didn’t deserve this like the Vikings, Commanders and 49ers fans did

Adolis Garcia is going on the 60-day IL with a torn right latissimus dorsi tear. Gabriel Rincones has been called up from the minors.
Obviously Adolis struggled at the plate thus far (was finally showing life there) but the difference defensively in right field with him compared to ✨last year✨ was night and day
