Our instructors can put together a routine that fits perfectly with your music, personality, style and skills.

We’ve choreographed everything from natural-looking, elegant waltzes to showy mash-ups that transitioned from “slow dance music” into upbeat pop, country or Latin. We’ve created Bollywood routines for sangeets, father-daughter hip-hop medleys and even a humorous 80s ballad. So whatever song you choose, we’ll come up with sizzling steps to compliment it.

Choreography is a great option if your song doesn’t fit with traditional ballroom patterns, if you want to present a more “impressive” dance, or if you just prefer to have a specific plan.

THIS Saturday: Flowers, cards, dinner out… those are all well and good, but why not make this Valentine’s Day extra memorable by connecting with your sweetheart on the dance floor?

Join us for partner dance basics, champagne and chocolate treats. Absolutely no experience required! Serge Khlystov and Deborah Hirsch of sister company Ballroom Bliss will teach you all the background you need to lead and follow.

Over the years, we’ve featured a variety of partner dance styles, from swing to tango. This year, we’re dialing up the classy vibe with an elegant intro to Rumba course. We’ll kick off the workshop with a breakdown of basic steps, then layer in spins, dips and more. Finish off with a short routine and some styling tips.

While American-style Rumba is typically danced to slow Latin music, the patterns can easily be adapted to work with many popular songs you might hear at party receptions. The Rumba box step is also a foundational move (with different timing/styling) in waltz and foxtrot, making it one of the most useful partner dance figures.

Wear whatever you like, dressier clothes are perfectly suitable. For footwear, we recommend smooth-soled dress shoes, moderate heels or flats, but sneakers also do the trick.

We wouldn't let a little distance stop us from helping you with your perfect day! Clients Yi Chen and Luke learned this dance entirely through zoom from a different city, with only one lesson with an instructor local to them to polish up their piece! We all had a blast and they did such a great job!
