🥎 Congratulations to Avery Stokes on being named Tournament MVP in Brandon! 🥎

Avery had an outstanding weekend, putting together a perfect 9-for-9 performance at the plate with 4 doubles, while also making several standout plays defensively.

Defensively, Avery accounted for 16 outs by herself throughout the weekend, including 7 plays in the championship game. She consistently made big plays in the field and was a difference-maker on both sides of the ball all weekend long.

⚾️ Congratulations to Charlie Herrington on being named Tournament MVP of the 7U bracket this weekend! ⚾️

Charlie had an incredible day at the plate, going 9-for-12 with 8 RBIs, including 2 home runs. One of those came in the championship game, where Charlie went 2-for-3 and hit a huge 3-run homer to help lead his team to the championship!

Charlie accounted for 10 runs himself on the day.

⚾️ Congratulations to our 7U baseball team on winning their championship in Tupelo today! ⚾️

The boys went 5-0 on the day, starting pool play by winning both games and outscoring their opponents 28-14. That earned them the #2 seed out of 16 teams heading into bracket play.

They continued to battle through three bracket-play games, outscoring their opponents 45-25 and finishing the day with 73 runs scored and just 39 allowed.

It was a hard-fought day from start to finish, with their best fight coming in the championship game. The boys found themselves down 12-6, but they never quit. They battled all the way back to win the championship 18-15!

The boys are now 7-2 on the season!

Proud of these little guys for the way they competed all day, they’re getting better & better! Congratulations, boys!

🥎 Cool moment this afternoon as our two 8U softball teams faced off against each other in the semifinal! 🥎

8U Stokes went on to win the championship, while 8U Quick picked up 2 wins in their very first tournament as a team. Proud of both teams and the growth we’ve seen from these girls. The coaches are doing a great job.

Thank you, Jesus, for each and every one of these girls and their families. We’re blessed to have them all be a part of Spectrum.

🥎 Congratulations to our Spectrum Softball 8U – Stokes on winning the championship this weekend in Brandon! 🥎

The girls went 4-0 on the day, scoring 44 runs across 4 games, and finished the weekend with a walk-off win in the championship game! They now improve to 7-1 on the season.

Breland Walker was Player of the Game in Game 1 after driving in 5 RBIs, including two hits that brought runs home. Allie McKee earned Player of the Game in Game 2 with clutch hitting and defensive plays. Willow Grace was the standout in Game 3, hitting a walk-off home run to end the game while also making several defensive plays. Maci Wilkerson was Player of the Game in the championship after hitting the game-winning ball to the fence to bring home the winning run.

Avery Stokes was voted Tournament MVP after recording several key outs throughout the day, including 7 outs in the championship game. Maci Wilkerson and Willow Grace also each hit in-the-park home runs on the day.

Great weekend from this group of girls!

Congratulations to our 10U Baseball team on finishing as finalists in their first tournament of the fall! 🥈⚾️

The boys finished 3-1 on the day, including a walk-off win in the semifinals and a win over the eventual tournament champions earlier in the day during pool play.

They lost the lead in the final inning of a long championship game that included a mid game field change and a lot of back-and-forth, good baseball. While we didn’t finish the way we wanted, the boys showed a lot of heart, toughness, and fight all weekend.

Proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead. We’re looking forward to a great fall season with these boys! 💪⚾️
