June 4th, 2010 - The Flyers win game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals to tie the series at 2-2.
June 2nd, 2010 - The Philadelphia Flyers win game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals in overtime to avoid going down 3-0 in the series. Claude Giroux would register 3 points, including the overtime goal.
May 31st, 1983 - The Philadelphia 76ers swept the Los Angeles Lakers 4–0 to win the 1983 NBA Championship. Malone helped cap off the sweep with an astonishing 24 points and 23 rebounds, securing an NBA Finals MVP.
May 29th, 2010 - Philadelphia Phillies ace Roy Halladay pitched the 20th perfect game in Major League Baseball history, defeating the Florida Marlins 1–0.
May 27th, 1975 - The Flyers defeat the Buffalo Sabres in 6 games to win back-to-back Stanley Cups. The final win would take place on the road, with a 2-0 shutout win. Bernie Parent won his second consecutive Conn Smythe Trophy as the postseason MVP. He remains one of only six players in NHL history to win multiple Conn Smythe awards. The 1975 Philadelphia Flyers remain the last Stanley Cup championship team to be composed solely of Canadian-born players.
May 26th, 1987 - Flyers win game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals to stay alive in the series. This time with another comeback win after being down 3-1 in the game. They would win 4-3 thanks to big performances from Rick Tocchet, Pelle Eklund, and Brian Propp.
May 25th, 1997 - The Flyers beat the New York Rangers, 4-2, to win the series in 5 games and advance to the Stanley Cup Final.
May 22nd, 1987 - In Game 3 of the 1987 Stanley Cup Finals, the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-3 at the Spectrum. They made history by executing the first-ever comeback from a 3-0 deficit in a Stanley Cup Finals game.
May 20th, 2001 - The Philadelphia 76ers hold on to beat the Toronto Raptors in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, 88-87. They would advance to play Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals.
