Today we told the gym that Janet & I are moving south to be closer with our kids as they start their own lives.
But the good news is that the gym & this amazing community will continue. As of January 2027, Matt & Stacy be the new owners and lead Prime into its next chapter. It was important to me that whoever took over Prime was from within our culture. So I feel good knowing Prime is in the hands of two amazing people that have been a part of this community for more than a decade.
As for me, Prime was my dream come true.
So thank you! ❤️
As I said today, all I ever wanted was the opportunity to be authentic. To express myself and all I loved. To create a community and something real.
But the community became more and gave me far more than I ever could have hoped for. Over the years, you guys taught me, inspired me, raised my own standards in certain ways, or supported me through so much.
I always found it so real and beautiful to watch friends come together. For families to form from Prime and children to be born. For people to evolve and conquer goals, suffer, party, and advance through life together. I have a positive view of life because for 18 years I watched people transform beyond what they believed was possible. I’ve watched people love, laugh, and support other.
Whether you were here when it first opened for the early years, one of our newer members, or someone that has been by our side the entire time, we shared a lot of life together.
Every day, we hung out and it was the best part of our day. Day after day we all looked forward to that place to see our friends and take on the daily challenge.
Prime is and was my family.
And while you won’t have us anymore, you will still have each other and the friends you made there. And that makes me happy.
It makes me happy to know Prime will have a chance to continue.
In conclusion, I I just want to say ..
Thank you Janet! We were broke, our kids were one, but you said yes. You believed in me and for that trust, we both got paid back in more ways than we could ever count. ❤️❤️❤️
We are still here for 3 months and I look forward to speaking with you all more personally over that time. ❤️💪
