The demo team learns moves like this 540 — the key difficulty is landing on the same foot that kicks. Action students have an open training with the demo team this Wednesday at 7:30pm. You can also watch the team compete at the Action Tournament this Saturday.

An Action Karate student wears this brace 18 to 24 hours a day due to spinal curvature. She takes it off for karate so most classmates don’t even know about her long-term health battle. She has been training like this for over 5 years, starting when she was in pre-school. She is currently a red belt preparing for her Junior Black Belt, an incredible feat for someone so young who works hard every day to beat the odds.
