Yesterday at St. Philip Neri, we wrapped up our training session and I asked the group that one simple question. Usually, I hear "my jumper," "better defense," or "how to screen."

But the first response I heard yesterday?

"Pride."

In 22+ years of coaching Philly hoops, I’ve heard it all, but that one hit different.

At Matt Paul Basketball, we’re obsessed with the details. We drill fundamentals and talk basketball IQ until the lights go out. But we aren't just building better ball handlers. We’re building better people.

Seeing these TEAM MP players walk off the court with their heads high, knowing they competed the right way and left it all out there: that’s the real win.
