LIGHT IT UP LADIES. COAST TO COAST. NORTH TO SOUTH. EAST TO WEST. BURN IT DOWN! LIGHT IT UP! TEAM USA IS COMIN!

So here is the way the day went: Alice Tran and Amanda Li started us off for Team USA Premier Women, going SUB SUB 8 and throwing it down ON THE FLO for that 2k! Both women EASILY OBLITERATING the 75th percentile requirement!

Next up was Sara Jordan who competed in the women's open winning a BRONZE alongside all those collegiate ROWERS (she went 7:18 - WHAT??).

The women's open lightweight was up next. Julia Ewing and Hype Jersey -Mattingly (that's me) both DOMINATED. The Assassin-bug going a ridiculous 7:39, and the old lady throwing down a close to PR 8:01. The next fastest time in that division was a 8:53. Just sayin'....

Next came the masters -
Ann Torockio won the GOLD for the 2k with a 7:48. Jayne E. Reuter PRd for silver with a 7:52.

Finally, the Master's B women. Firefighter Christine Pezzulo must have thought she was rowing to put out some flames because she CRUSHED for Gold at 7:30. WHAT? Yes you read that right. 7:30, boys and girls!

Emilia Rastrick right on Christine's heels, despite protracted time on the DL this winter. Emilia handily took the silver and both women were WAY OUT ahead of the field by 20-30 seconds!

LADIES, TODAY WE STARTED ON THE PATH TO TWD. It's not going to be EASY. The Team USA Premier Women/Hopefuls who came out and THREW DOWN TODAY PUT US ON THAT PATH and when I looked around the room today, I didn't see ANYONE blink! TWD 2015!
