Get ready to roll! Now that fall is right around the corner, we are excited to announce that registration is now OPEN for our REBRANDED skateboard program in partnership with pro skaters from Sk8 Education 😊

Whether your child is stepping on a skateboard for the first time, or looking to take their skills to the next level, The Skateboard Academy at Palumbo Rec Center has sessions for them! See below for info⬇️

🛹 BEGINNER LEVEL - TUESDAYS, 5-6PM
• Perfect for first-time and newer skaters. Learn the basics, build confidence, and get comfortable on a skateboard!

🛹 INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED - THURSDAYS, 6-7PM
• Designed for skaters who have some experience and are ready to advance their skills. Participants MUST know the basics and have some skills under their belt in order to join!

💲 $75 program fee
🧒 Ages 5-17
🟢 Boards provided. BYO helmet

We are hosting our first t-shirt design contest for our skateboard program in partnership with Sk8 Education 🛹🎨

Guidelines:
✔️MUST include program name:
“The Skateboard Academy at Palumbo Rec Center”
✔️ALL artwork must be original
✔️Ages 5-15
✔️Include creative elements of skateboarding and community
✔️Design can be dropped off to the Rec Center OR emailed to [email protected] - please include name and age

🗓️DEADLINE:
Friday September 4th by 5PM

🏆WINNER will be announced Friday September 11th and will receive a special prize!

We are very excited to bring back our 12-14 Youth Flag Football League! 🏈

The season will run from September-November. The program cost is $140 which includes certified jerseys from NFL FLAG FOOTBALL.
