West Philadelphia Taekwondo & Sport Karate

Come sweat with us at West Philadelphia Taekwondo tomorrow at an open workout.

Traditional classes are cancelled in observance of Memorial Day, but we will hold an open sport karate workout at 11am.

Before you gobble those glizzies and sip that reposado, come burn a few calories with the Philly Sport Karate crew!

Classes resume Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

Our Master Instructor, Kevin Harden Jr., competed at the North American Sport Karate Association’s Pan American International Karate Championships.

The result: First Place Men’s 40+ Black Belt Heavyweight Fighting.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies out there, especially the First Lady of West Philadelphia Taekwondo, Ms. Tai!!!

Ms. Tai is a world champion level competitor and in both forms and fighting and has more than 40 years experience training in the martial arts. We are grateful for her and all of the moms that support our students in achieving their goals inside and outside of our studio.
