She's taking 200 swings a weekโcage time, tournaments, private lessons. ๐ฅ
And the ball still dies at the warning track.
Here's the truth: the fence doesn't care how hard she swings. It only cares about exit velocity and launch angle. Swinging harder usually just breaks down the mechanics that were actually working. ๐ฅ
Real power starts from the ground up:
๐ฆถ Legs push into the dirt
๐ช๏ธ Hips rotate and transfer power
๐ก๏ธ Core stays stiff so force doesn't leak
๐คฒ Hands deliver what the lower half built
The bat is last in line. It can only give back what her body created. โก๏ธ
The gap in the girls' game isn't effortโit's that fastpitch development relies heavily on reps and rarely on true strength and rotational power training. ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
Train the engine and the distance shows up on its own. ๐

AUGUST'S COMMITTED CLUB
35 athletes trained 12 or more times last month. 575 sessions between them.
Not the strongest girls in the gym. Not the most talented. The ones who kept showing up - through vacation weeks, tournament weekends, and the last stretch of summer.
Five of them have now done it every single month since March: Chloe, Emma, Michaela, Rylee and Annika. Ten earned their spot for the very first time, and five more fought their way back in.
Swipe to see everyone who made it, and girls, tag yourself in the comments.

School lets out at 2:45. Practice starts at 4:00. That gap is where a lot of fall performance quietly disappears.
Lunch was at 11. If nothing goes in between, you see it in the last twenty minutes โ heavy legs, sloppy reps, and a kid who walks in the door starving.
Same formula every time: a carb for energy, a protein for recovery, and something she'll actually eat in the car. PB&J and a banana. Greek yogurt and granola. Turkey roll-ups and pretzels. An apple with peanut butter and a chocolate milk.
If she's training hard this fall and you're not sure what she should be eating around it, that's exactly what our Sports Nutrition Coaching is built for. Real food, hand portions, no calorie counting and no tracking apps โ fueling that fits her sport and her schedule, with parents in the loop. In person or online.

13 Athletes. 13 Programs. One Relentless Standard. ๐ฅ
This fall, 13 of our athletes are taking the next step to compete at the collegiate levelโspanning field hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, softball, soccer, wrestling, and basketball.
We saw the work behind the scenes. The late night lifts. The refusal to settle. The relentless resets after a missed rep. Showing up when it was hard, uncomfortable, or exhausting.
Thatโs the work no one sees, but itโs the exact foundation that got them here.
