Slaydies Skills + Shred Series

We had a great spring coaching season and took our usual Summer break but as the winter coaching season gets closer, we've found ourselves unable to commit to group coaching events for the rest of 2024.

Coach Stef has been recovering from ACL Surgery in May which has her out of commission and Coach Lauren has been dealing with a busy plate of stuff and family health issues that have required her full attention. Giving back and coaching is such an honor for us, so this is a tough pill to swallow. Some select 1:1 coaching will be available on a case by case basis.

We hope to be back in 2025 with some great group coaching offerings including the return of our annual Lady Shred Weekend at Sunrise Ski Park in the Summer!

In the meantime, if you're looking for Mountain Bike coaching this fall, we'd like to recommend some great coaches to look into:

Know a 6-12 grade girl who either already mountain bikes or wants to learn how to mountain bike? Check out Pedal Girl, Pedal! half-day camp this Sunday in Phoenix at the Francisco Highland Park.

This camp is all about getting and is an amazing opportunity for girls to learn new skills and have fun!

The camp fee is $40

*half-day mountain bike experience with other girls

*instruction by licensed coaches

*a sack lunch

*t-shirt and a goody bag

**if the fee is a barrier to participate there are coupon codes available for those in need.

If an interested girl doesn't have a mountain bike, one can be requested during registration for no extra charge. Helmets are also available upon request.

Coach will be helping out at this event and we cannot wait to see

Coach here. Coach Mike and I had a great session on the Mormon/national loop yesterday with these ladies (missing a few!) I've had the pleasure of coaching these ladies when they were new riders and a few times since and seen their progression as they've pushed themselves to tackle harder and harder obstacles along the way. It's the greatest feeling as a Coach to see some of the groundwork you've laid come to fruition. It takes years and focused practice to see skills become fully realized. Most riders start in a similar place but those who work will go somewhere beyond their wildest imagination ✨ Kudos to these gals for continuing to show up and stack their bricks 🧱 and work towards true competency on the bike!
