The WFTDA has launched a test season of a new Open Division that will run until June 30, 2026. The test program is free, and open to all teams regardless of affiliation. You do not need to have a WFTDA membership to participate. For more information, see our Open Division web page.

This program is not connected to the WFTDA main division competition, so WFTDA leagues and teams do not need to meet that division’s charter crossover requirements.

WFTDA expects that leagues do not force members of marginalized genders to participate on their Open Division team, and has provided guidance in the program documents to support teams in managing their rosters appropriately.
