As we continue to celebrate Mom's during the Month of May - we want to extend the celebration to Mother's in our community.
We can't think of a better way to celebrate than by giving to Mom's that need the most help.
Maggie's Place is a wonderful organization here is Phoenix that supports Mother's and their babies with special needs, care, support, and shelter.
It's a place close to our heart and we would love to be a blessing to them as we round out our celebration of Mom's this month.
They are currently in need of diapers of all sizes, toiletries and personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash for Mom and Babies.

There is no doubt this last month has affected your thoughts in some manner or even changed your circumstances beyond your control. Two things we do have control of is our thoughts and how we use them. We've seen some pretty amazing thoughtful actions happen during the last month.
It might be easy to over look them or disregard the kind of thoughtful things happening around us and the kindness that has resulted.
We have encouraged our students and families to act on some positive thoughts they might be having to help and encourage others that might be struggling.

You've heard the saying "laughter is the best medicine"
and we couldn't agree more. We are sharing some fun stories and jokes with our students today in our virtual training and we would like to encourage and challenge you to make someone laugh today!
Laughter reduces pain, increases job performance, connects people emotionally, and improves the flow of oxygen to the heart and brain.
Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being 🥰

Mindful Monday ~ our mindful tip for Monday is to encourage everyone to find a Mentor.
What is a mentor? A Mentor is defined as someone who guides another to greater success.
Find a mentor that pushes you to better things, inspires, motivates, and does it with Love.
Not someone that enables you or allows you to stay comfortable being stuck.
Your mentor may not even be someone you know personally but maybe someone you watch or follow on social media.
A person that makes you feel better after you leave them. Maybe you have more than one!
Maybe you are that person to someone?
Encourage your children to have mentors. Discover what inspires your children and teens. Ask questions and see why they are inspired by that person.
Now is the time to be better.
If you have a mentor ~ share it with others. It just might be what they are looking for.
