Beware of this Post | Art / media / design - job employment
Place is called Artcraft Sports Apparel - looking for graphic artist well versed in illustrator ,photoshop on mac. part time 20-30 hrs week we are sports / school oriented company in valley +30 years.will also run die cutter and direct to garment printer. experience in these not necessary, will train. send resume
Just aheads up for all my fellow Designer Colleagues | this place is a dump, dirty ssa floors, ceiling falling down "watch your head", very small business 1-3 employees at the most not a professional place to work-in. boss is really cheap so, the Ad saids he'll pay you between 11-14 $hrly.... Ummm, he won't "Too Freaking cheap!" won't even replace the run down garment printer (no white) and twill cutter AKA run die cutter "as he stated). Anyway, old as hell equipment/machinery, computers, phone system, software like Corel Draw #4 works for the twill cutter about to go, same thing with the garment (HP) printer a laptop very old and will not last much longer either; also runs off old software too... But, he did finally get a new Mac company desktop a 2015 model (Apple) smile:') which was pretty cool - and you have to deal with his one-sided republican views all day everyday "you'll be sh****ng it out" mostly losing all clients/customers this bu****it also, watch your ssa you'll be harassment by both end of the stick owner and front end manager they/she like to talk behind your back and he's back the 2 of the can't seem to see eye to eye on most things... the owners getting old should retire but won't. he cannot multi task or remember things forgets and good luck with training know one knowns how to you the twill cutter between the two of them if your plan to work there bring some duct tape you'r going to need it and ear plugs that crazy ssa old bat front end person; talks to much!... smokes like a chimney!... (duct tape her month) and also use it for the drop down ceiling. if you do work there get everything in writing "hrs pay and total hour per wk".
