Hello Families,

Thank you for registering for CWS NFL Flag Football Fall 2021. We are looking forward to a great season. At this time, teams are being built, practice fields are being established, and we are preparing for the new season. Rosters should be out by September 6th. We are still looking to fill some coach spots, so if you're interested in coaching, please reach out to Dominique Morning @ 602 330 7177. We are also still adding players and registration will remain open thru the first week.

City West Sports is a 501(c)3 non profit, if you know any companies looking to contribute, we are always looking for opportunities to provide scholarships and better equipment and practice facilities across all CWS programs. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Families!

City West Sports is ready to kick off the Spring NFL Flag Football Season. Tentative start date is March 27th. If you're receiving this email, you were enrolled in the Spring 2020 session, and your registration was automatically rolled over. You will not need to make any payments and are good to go.

This upcoming season will be different as far as precautions to play safe and follow all CDC guidelines. As we are all anxious to get active again, we want to ensure we're following all recommendations to keep our kids safe.

We have tentatively adjusted the age groups to 6 and under** NEW (developmental), 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under. We are now one of just a few NFL FLAG Leagues in the city going forward. The ONLY official one in the Metro North West Phoenix area.

Some things have also changed with the organization considering such a long lay off. Which means we will need new volunteer coaches! If you are interested in coaching, please reach out to me ASAP (Dominique) at 602 330 7177.

We hope Everyone is well. Fall season is right around the corner and we'd love to see you all back. Spring registrations have been given credit on your account for the amount paid. In many cases that amount exceeds the current cost for registration; the excess credit will carry forward to additional seasons. Registration is $60 right now. Please log in and get registered. Use apply credit to check out. The live registration link is at the bottom of this message.

We are eager to get back to sports, but also cautious given the current climate of the pandemic. The future is uncertain, and we will do whatever we can to get back to it while having the highest regard for our families' safety. We can assure you that CWS will do everything in our power to adhere to CDC guidelines.

Hello Families!

This is Dominique Morning, your league director for City West Sports. I just wanted to touch base with everyone about our upcoming plans for the start of the season, and how we are planning to handle this Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) scare.

In the midst of all the concern and confusion; we'd like to hold off on our start date. We are pushing the start date back one week for flag football to begin April 4th, instead of the planned start date of March 28th.This is tentative, and can still change. T-Ball was slated to start April 11th for their 6 week season. As of now, that start date will not change.

We still plan to have all seasons completed by May 16th, allowing for one extra make up week before memorial weekend in the case we have a rain out day or cancellation.

I just want to feel out this whole situation and take as many necessary precautions as possible. Many other leagues, organizations, and schools are also currently considering how to deal with this. Lets be patient, and cautious, and see where we're at in a week. expect another communication next week around this time for an update.

Just a friendly reminder. Our annual Trunk or Treat Party is this Sunday. Come hang out under the stars in the festival-like atmosphere created by our own CWS community. Hope to see you all out! :)

We still need volunteers to hand out candy and decorate their trunks! Coaches get together with your teams and represent your squad, parents get with your kids and create fun games and awesome trunks! Please let me know if you have any questions. If you're thinking about pulling your ride up this weekend to participate, please shoot me a text or even respond to this email so I can plan accordingly (if you decide last minute that's fine too).
