CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS CLARIFICATION:
Feisworx program will offer choices as in a 3 round championship. Please select for all 3 rounds but you will only be dancing 2 rounds as follows:
AZ State - PRELIM, Light and Heavy 32 bars
OPEN, Light 32 bars, and Set

M. Hall - PRELIM, Light 32 bars and Set
OPEN, Heavy 32 bars and Set
We tried to give everyone a chance to do all their Oireachtas dances while keeping to two rounds in order to complete the feis dancing one at a time.
MAUREEN HALL DANCE OFF - Due to large entries, we are changing the requirements for these specials back to one step light and one step heavy.

FIREWORKS AT 9:30 SATURDAY NIGHT!

Both feiseanna are
being capped at 185. We currently have 168 paid entries.

Championship entrants: You must select your dances on Feisworx by the 26th. After grouping dances, random sort will be done in advance and published. Further detailed information will be coming regarding social distancing, and flow of feis. MASKS must be worn by all. Dancers may remove while dancing.

Dear parents and dancers,

We appreciate all your support in this endeavor. With the spike in Covid-19 numbers in Arizona and everyone's best interest and safety at heart, we have made the decision to postpone our feiseanna until Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 5-6, 2020.

ENTRIES: If you wish to simply carry over your entry to Labor Day Weekend, do nothing. We are just changing the dates, not the syllabi.

Due to the spike in Arizona numbers, we are in discussions with the Arizona Grand. Will provide final decision on feis ASAP.

There will be no check-in side stage at feis. Please go on feisworx and select your championship
dances and set dance/speed so we can schedule accordingly. Thank you, Pat Hall

Entries are closing tomorrow at NOON, PST. We will not be accepting late entries after deadline at noon tomorrow. Entries are sufficient to plan safe traffic flow and schedule. Please note that anyone entering the ballrooms will have to wear a mask or will be denied entry. Dancers will be allowed to take off mask to dance. Additional guidelines will be posted.

UPDATES: 7th May 2020 Social Distancing

AWARDS: To reduce contact and possible spread of germs, we are going to offer an option at time of entry to waive receipt of awards. The value of awards will be donated to the
FEEDING AMERICA affiliate in Phoenix with a full report to teachers for distribution after the feis. If declined, awards will be forwarded at a later date. First Feis dancers will receive a memento. To avoid congregating, awards will be posted online, no paper results posted in ballroom. Championship awards will be announced on FB and posted online.

DANCING: Entry and exit doors. Groups will be scheduled by age in different rooms. Dancers will stand around 3 sides of stages, 6 ft. apart, dance one at a time, and return to place and exit in a line with proper distancing. Championship dancers will dance one at a time. Possibly 3 rounds one day and 2 the next. We may have to limit amount of spectators per dancer, chairs will be spread apart. We will have to clear ballrooms between age groups. We do not anticipate offering team dancing competitions at this time.

DINING: We are working with the Arizona Grand Resort on options for outdoor and indoor dining, reducing contact and maintaining social distancing.

When entries open, hotel link will also be posted. Please know that all hotel reservations will be fully refundable.
