There are two types of people in the world: those who push through the uncomfortable, and those who prefer to just rip that band-aid right off. Let’s hear it — what’s your preference? #OTFWouldYouRather

Ellen's Message.mp4

You thrive on the in-studio energy. It’s what gives you the pep in your step, the power in your push, and not to mention — it makes working out WAY more fun. To those of you who aren’t quite ready to get back to it, we hope you find comfort in what Ellen has to say about everything we’re doing to keep you safe. While you’re busy crushing #OrangetheoryAtHome workouts, know we’ll be here when you’re ready to give your motivation — and your results — a major boost.

We hope you’ve been practicing your air high-fives at home, because you can bet we’ve got one waiting for you here at the studio. A huge shoutout goes to Orangetheory member Reagan @otfnashville for rocking her first class back and showing the world that health, fitness and safety matter now more than ever before. Share your first class back experiences in the comments below to inspire a fellow member or an Orangetheory newbie to kickstart (or restart) their fitness goals on this glorious Monday. #NeverMissAMonday

When it comes to weights you can use at home, the options are endless. From furry animals to your own body weight to actual dumbbells and just about everything in between, you can get your workout in whenever, wherever, and however you choose. Talk about convenience, huh? Make the most of your time while our studio is temporarily closed with new, daily #OrangetheoryAtHome workouts delivered straight to your mobile app.

Jump lunges vs hopovers.m4v

It’s game time! Imagine there’s a minute on the clock and you’ve got two exercises to choose from. Which would you choose, and why? Spoiler alert: You’ve got one of these moves coming in September’s #DriTri challenge. So choose wisely. #OTFWouldYouRather

Back At It Challenge.mp4

You never said "never." And you gave it your all. Congrats, OTF nation! You crushed the Back At It Challenge and can be proud. Show off your badges of honor, and know that the best reward is simply knowing you can do it — and anything else you put your mind to.

To our members: You inspired us then, but you inspire us so much more now. Look at you, building strength and momentum no matter what challenges come your way. Your health has never been more important than it is right now, and the decision to keep crushing your fitness goals — whether you’re back in the studio, enjoying an Orangetheory Outdoor workout, or getting your Splat Points in at home — deserves some praise. Can we get a virtual high-five over here? 🙌 #NeverMissAMonday

While we’re all working out from home, one thing’s certain: we need each other more than ever. Sometimes, all it takes is you pushing yourself to inspire a fellow member to kick it into high gear. So, let’s start the train of positivity. Share some encouraging words of advice, post a pic of yourself crushing an #OrangetheoryAtHome workout, or humbly brag about your performance results in the comments below. We’re all in this thing — together.

Early bird or night owl? Doesn’t matter when you do it, as long as you get yourself to class! #OTFWouldYouRather

We know wearing a mask during an Orangetheory Fitness workout is different. But doing so can save lives. Here's what the experts say about what to expect and how to rock your workout while wearing one.

Power Up Challenge.mp4

Power through your next Orangetheory At Home™ Challenge Edition with 5 power exercises and 5 minutes on the clock. These fast, explosive movements will crank up your energy levels and leave you with a just-slayed-that feeling of crushing an in-studio challenge. So, the question is … how many rounds of exercises can you complete? Check our feed to view the full challenge. And don’t forget to call your local studio to see if it’s reopened.

Can we just take a moment to celebrate some non-scale victories? Coach Demi from Orangetheory Fitness Highland Park shows us the beauty of challenging yourself to a heavier set of dumbbells. Did you know consistent strength training in your workout routine not only makes you stronger, but it also increases calorie burn at rest, improves cognitive function, and can even extend your life? Tell us — what’s your biggest non-scale victory yet? Post in the comments below in celebration of this Transformation Tuesday.

We cannot stress how important recovery is. Here’s a glimpse of why it does a body good. Flexibility training can improve both postural stability and balance, two components of physical fitness that impact the member experience at Orangetheory Fitness. Stretching and foam rolling increase circulation and local oxygenation. It can also improve mood and lead to lower levels of stress and anxiety. Precisely why we end every workout with some flexibility.

Alright, team. This is the finish line. Your LAST CHANCE to prove that you’ve gone all in for this year’s #BackAtItChallenge. So, give it all you’ve got — and more. Sleep easy, recover often, eat healthy, crush some at-home challenges, get your #OrangetheoryAtHome workouts in, and polish it off with a few outdoor cardio workouts. Whatever you do, don’t stop. What’s left to conquer this week?

It’s official — we’re in the last week of the #BackAtItChallenge and that means … EVERY workout counts. Get in those last few in-studio or #OrangetheoryAtHome workouts so you can proudly call yourself a Workout Warrior (and sport your badge, too!). Have you already completed 16 total workouts to earn your bragging rights? Get in a few extra this week and get even closer to your goals.

A heart-pumping, calorie-torching beast of a workout, or a heart-pumping, calorie-torching beast of a workout — but with breaks?

Ultimate Burpee Challenge.mp4

It starts with “B” and ends with “urpee.” You guessed it — your favorite move is the focus of our next Orangetheory At Home™ Challenge Edition: Ultimate Burpee Challenge. We’ve taken the everyday burpee and spiced it up with bicep curls, shoulder presses, low rows and more. How many can you do in a minute? Check our feed to view the full workout. And don’t forget to check with your local studio to see if it’s reopened.

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It starts with one workout. One chance to become better. Stronger. Faster. Who do you want to be? What do you want to do? You set the goal and we'll help you get there. Register for class now. #TransformationTuesday

A little stress in the short-term isn’t so bad. In fact, it’s your body’s way of protecting itself. When a stress reaction is prolonged, it puts us at risk for things like hypertension or even sleep problems. Doing a few things like getting outside, exercising, or even learning a new hobby can help reduce stress so you sleep easy. #BackAtITChallenge

We know that with reduced class capacity, additional disinfecting protocols and mandatory PPE for staff, your first class back will look a little different. So, we asked members who’ve made their way back into the studio to share their experiences - that way you know exactly what to expect!

Single Side Challenge.mp4

What you do on one side, you gotta do on the other! The next Orangetheory At Home™ Challenge Edition is all about balance. It’s the Single Side Challenge. On your left side, do single-arm power jacks, balance bicep curls, deadlifts and more. Then switch to the right. Check our feed to view the full workout. And don’t forget to check with your local studio to see if it’s reopened.

While we’d prefer to have all of us together in the studio, watching you crush #OrangetheoryAtHome workouts comes in as a close second. Remember, you don’t need a ton of space or any fancy equipment to get in the Orange Zone. You just need yourself, your OTbeat™ to track your results, and a post-workout selfie so we can continue to inspire each other along the way. Tune into the app or our YouTube channel for the latest and greatest workout.

Here are a few tips to increase your physical activity and crown yourself a Workout Warrior:

✅ Plan out your week and pre-book your classes.

✅ Try to move more when you’re not working out, like parking farther away to get some extra steps in.

✅ Buddy up. Work out with an exercise partner to keep yourself accountable.

You know what makes our day? Hearing what working out does for YOU. It’s great to hear that you feel stronger, you have more energy or your clothes feel looser. But there’s something that’s just as important, if not more. And that’s when your MIND feels be]er. Thank you for sharing your stories of how exercising at OTF leaves you less stressed out and more at peace. Let’s keep going and transform ourselves from the inside out!

The thought of not seeing you every day takes the wind out of our sails. Even our BOSU balls are feeling down and deflated. We can’t wait for that glorious day when we get to welcome you back, but until then, keep moving. #OrangetheoryAtHome workouts are posted daily to keep you active, healthy and strong. Tune into the mobile app or YouTube for the latest workout. And don’t forget to use your OTbeat™ to make each workout count.

First class back? That’s a reason to clap. For all of you who are starting to slay in the studio again, we love the energy. Let’s keep the momentum going — mask on, OTbeat™ strapped and mind focused. Has your local studio reopened? Make sure to call and find out!

You’ve done challenges before, but nothing this hardcore. Or, should we say, HardCORE. Cue up the latest Orangetheory At Home™ Challenge Edition and put your abs to work. Check our feed to view the full workout. And don’t forget to check with your local studio to see if it’s reopened.

Every Splat Point counts, no matter where you get your workout in. While you’re waiting patiently for the studio to open, get in on some of the #OrangetheoryAtHome action. There’s no better feeling than sweating away some calories and earning Splat Points, knowing results are right around the corner. So dust off your OTbeat™ and grab your workout buddy and let's ring in results together. You in?

Here’s something to think about on days when you're just not feeling it. Remember that very first class you took? You have improved so much since then. Give yourself a pat on the back. Keep moving, pushing, believing. Every day counts. Tag a friend you want to motivate today! #NeverMissAMonday

The right kind of food at the right time makes a world of difference. Consuming 20 to 25 grams of carbohydrates and 5 to 10 grams of protein before you OTF will increase carbohydrate availability — your body’s preferred fuel source for exercise. Grab some fruit with string cheese or a small amount of nut butter, a protein pancake or low-fat breakfast bar. It’s important to keep your body a well-oiled machine.

“Those badges look good on you,” said every Orangetheory member ever. We’re officially past the halfway mark of the #BackAtItChallenge, and we can almost taste the finish line. What badges are you working toward this week? Tell us in the comments below.

OTF fam, we're so proud of you — masked and full of momentum! Taking precautions under the glow of the orange lights is everything to us. Depending on local regulations, some of our studios are adding mask-required classes into their schedules. Call yours to find out if they're available in your area. If you're not ready to come back, you can keep moving with our #OrangetheoryAtHome workouts. Just cue them up on your Orangetheory app or YouTube and GO.
