Red Carpet Classic ⭐️ Big congratulations to our team, Relentless for scoring superior and receiving a VIP award back at the Red Carpet Classic competition! This was all of their first time competing, and we’re excited to see what comes next for them❤️‍🔥

This past weekend, Sonoran Athletics competed at our very first cheer competition, and it meant a lot. Every athlete who took the floor was competing for the first time, and this weekend they ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT.

When the DJ Crisco Kidd gave our athletes a shoutout for it being their first competition, we felt so much support from other programs and families. As a staff it made the experience that much more special, and the girls were positively beaming with pride and excitement afterwards.

This season hasn’t been perfect. It’s been a lot of learning, growing, and working through challenges as the team was not only taking on a challenging routine, but also learning a brand new sport. But they worked hard, stayed consistent, and it showed. Out of 9 teams, they earned the second highest score in their category by less than a quarter of a point (out of 100), with the only team scoring higher being a group of older, more experienced athletes.

So from the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate everyone in the community who has supported Sonoran Athletics, whether you’ve brought your athlete to a gymnastics or tumbling class, clinic, or just stopped to chat with us at a farmers market or local event. Our season is coming to a close next month, and we’ll be releasing our informational packet soon for anyone interested in joining the cheer team next season.
