We are all drying and shrinking up, people!
Thankfully, the practice of Yin yoga can help.
The elasticity of our connective tissue diminishes with physical activity and aging and the fluid in our joints dries up with a sedentary lifestyle. Which makes Yin essential for injury prevention and joint health in every body. Since Yin yoga practice often includes several seated long-held forward bending postures, it also restores energy and calms the nervous system. Bliss!!

Growing pains are the worst and my 4 year old has 'em bad. I massage his legs worth copaiba and lavender EO and a couple drops of coconut oil to help ease the pain and relax him into falling back asleep.

This is what my home practice looks like more often than not. There's usually at least one kiddo on my mat with me, or hanging on me, trying to run me over with a fire truck or yelling at me to stop everything I'm doing and get them a graham cracker. Whatever. I'd rather have all that going on while I practice than not practice at all.
