This has to be one of my proudest moments with my son!
My son was pretty timid before starting Jiu Jitsu Legion MMA He was very uncomfortable ruff housing and he was picked on at school.
(Not bullied, picked on! Just like boys should be picked on as an adolescent 🙄 PARENTS, Everything isn’t BULLYING.)
He now no longer tries to fit in with kids at school and his grades have drastically improved.
In the middle of his promotion, my buddy taps me and says, “Looks like your son is getting promoted.”
Immediately, the greatest emotion came over me as a PROUD DAD. Most of the time, my son didn’t want to go to Jiu Jitsu. Once I told him he’s going to be here for a minimum of 1 year, he changed his attitude.
Jiu Jitsu has given my son a different outlook on who he is and is becoming.
Thank you to all the Coaches at Legion MMA for being part of my sons growth and development.

If you are not willing to start from the bottom at multiple stages in life, you’ll never succeed.
Ironically, I am wearing a ThinkReactLead T-shirt that has my first company logo on it. When I had this logo redesigned, it cost me triple what I paid the first time. I was more dialed in on my business and knew exactly what it stood for. This allowed me to give very specific instruction to the designer. Five years later, I’m still happy with my company logo.
More importantly, I’m happy with the growth of my self, my company, all of the clients I’ve had the pleasure of Coaching and stages I’ve had the pleasure of speaking on.
My initial reason for getting into Jiu Jitsu was simply to learn a fighting technique that I could easily use to defend myself without the risk of killing someone. In all honesty, it’s the prison part I’m not fond of. I’ve seen a person hit someone and cause brain damage because the individual folded and hit their head on concrete. They’re doing 10 years.
I digress… What I’ve learned in my short time of training is CONTROL. Emotional and Physical Control at best.
I also enrolled my son into this new world of Jiu Jitsu. Watching his development in such a short time has been nothing short of AMAZING. Thanks to Daniel Madrid and all the coaches Legion MMA
Two take aways…
