Vinyasa Yoga doesn’t always mean ‘power yoga.’ You can move as slowly as your breath that guides the movement allows. I teach slow flow vinyasa as well as hot vinyasa - aka a more rigorous pace. Sometimes I do the same sequence slowly and other times I need to move faster. There is no ‘right or wrong,’ ‘more yogi or less yogi.’ It’s just you. Finding your breath and moving your body with it.

Here’s a Monday flow that can be gentle and yummy slow - or faster and more invigorating.

Whatever you do, do it with kindness. Everything after that is extra. 🌟 #poseoftheday is Birds of Paradise. The pose had nothing to do with this sentiment except for this : be kind to yourself, when you attempt a pose that some days feels ‘doable’ and other days feels .... not so much. Kindness to others starts with self love. 💕
