Jonathan Surner won his recent bout at Bangkok Fight night via Technical Knockout (TKO) in the third round with knees to the body. He displayed beautiful clinchwork and quickly returned combinations.

Jacob Stowe fought through a midweek illness and a training injury that left him with only one good leg during his five-round title bout for the 145 BFN belt. He displayed impressive heart all the way to the finish. We are proud of both he and Jonathan in the way they represented Upstate CMA. Thank you all for following along with their journey.

Upstate CMA fighters Jonathan Surner and Jacob Stowe will fight their toughest bouts to date on Saturday, August 29th in Marietta, GA. Jacob’s fight is the co-main event for the 145 lb BFN title.

We have a large number of members between Hartwell CMA and Upstate CMA — This is a great opportunity to show up in numbers in show of support!

Pre-order now! We are excited to begin taking pre-orders for the first mirrored t-shirt design of both CMA schools.

We are accepting pre-orders until Monday, August 17th.

We expect orders to be fulfilled within 2-3 weeks from that date.

Our junior students are learning empowerment and resilience. We hope they look in the mirror and see the little warrior we see as their coach!

A new T-Shirt design for both Upstate CMA and CMA is coming soon that mirror one another! The new design showcases our school’s shared philosophies and practices. We hope adult students and kids like the look, and feel the sense of unity we expect them to bring. (The new design will also be a great option to wear to competitions!) Stay tuned!

We congratulate our two newest members of the Little Dragons Black Belt graduate list. 🎉

These young leaders are now graduating into the Junior Karate program! There they will add their own special and unique personality to the group, and take on new challenges.

We are really impressed and inspired by the 2 years these kiddos have spent accomplishing this goal. They prove that the ‘ordinary’ days ARE the ‘special’ days.

We hope they feel as proud of themselves as we do. It’s been an honor watching them challenge their limits and grow their strengths.

What a special checkpoint in their martial arts journey. 😊
