Pete Lien & Sons Shooting Sports Complex Organized in two separate areas (north and south), the complex offers a wide variety of options for all levels.

There is room for beginners and experts to shoot side by site, with facilities for education, outreach, and shooting competitions.

We have a BUSY weekend coming up at the range!

Friday - Sunday:
- Middle of Nowhere Shooting Club LLC is hosting a 1,000 YD Benchrest Shoot

Saturday, Sept 26th:
-Rushmore Regulators is hosting a SASS Cowboy Action Shoot on Bay 5 on the the North Range
-Prairie Thunder Inc is hosting a USPSA Pistol Match on Bays 6-11 on the North Range
-Joel Wise is hosting a NRL22 match on the 300YD .22 Bays

During this time, the range will still be OPEN for public shooting! Spectators are welcome and encouraged at all events.

Joel Wise will be hosting a NRL22 match at the range this Saturday, September 26th.

The match will be held on bays 1-10 of the 300YD range, on the NRL22 only bays!

Monday (9/21), complex staff will be re-assembling the range after the G***K Annual Shoot. Bays 7, 9 & 10 (100YD) and Bays 2 & 4 (50YD) will be open, as well as the Rimfire range, 300YD range and the shotgun areas.

Staff will work throughout the day & week to open up the rest of the range.

At 12:30 today (9/16) the South Range will be closed to public shooting for event setup.

The South Range will be closed through Sunday (9/20) for the G***K Annual Shoot.

The G***K 2026 Annual Shoot & Gunny Challenge is ONE WEEK AWAY!

Closure Reminder: This event will be taking place over the entire South Range. The range will be closing at 12:30PM on Wednesday (9/16) for setup. The South Range will be CLOSED to public shooting from Thursday (9/17) through Sunday (9/20).

During this time, the Archery Range and the North Range will both be open. Spectators are welcome!

RANGE SPOTLIGHT: Shotgun Area

Prepping for bird season? Our shotgun area is the perfect place to hone your skills!

This area includes three S***t fields, Olympic/Bunker Trap, a 5-stand sporting clays course, and patterning boards.

All shooters must either have an annual membership or a day pass to use the shotgun area.
