Well we can now say goodbye to duck season we ended our run with a youth hunt this morning with some of the no shooting youngins I have ever seen. Lol but they had fun don't worry kids you will get to see a bull Pintail with about a 8 inch sprig again someday maybe. It's only the first one I've seen in about 20 years.

First duck hunt of the year. Had a great morning with my daddy and little brother just wish my other brother could have come.

How did the last season go for everyone? I haven't had a chance to go out yet but I am itching to go.

With deer season kicked off and running that means duck season is just around the corner. Who has there first hunt of the season all planed out.

They opened a New Bass Pro Shop in Carry NC so me and the family took a ride over there. I was like a kid in a candy store.

Is any body taking part in the youth duck season? There are two days you can take a kid hunting Sat Feb 1 and Sat Feb 8. I normally do one every year but due to the weather I have to work this Saturday. I strongly suggest taking part in this especially if you know a kid that doesn't get to go or has never been before it's awesome and I promise you or the child will never forget it. Good Luck to those you will take part in this. And always remember to take a kid hunting and fishing so they too can enjoy the outdoors.
