Cooking with Layne: Grandma’s Chili Edition!

The secret to a good pot of chili? Apparently, a little bit of bean juice! 😂

Layne’s got the recipe down, and Grandma’s got herself quite the little sous chef!

Turn up the sound for this one!

Throwback Thursday! ❤️

This little rockstar sure has grown up! Hard to believe how fast time flies. Seems like just yesterday Layne was this little guy peeking over the paperwork! Time sure needs to slow down a little.

Smooth As A Cat was something special from the very beginning, and we’re incredibly proud of the legacy that continues today. ❤️

Some moments only get better with time.

Smooth As A Cat and NCHA Professional Horseman Matt Gaines at the 2005 Bonanza Cutting - a snapshot from an incredible show career that helped shape a lasting legacy.

An NCHA Horse of the Year, Hall of Fame inductee and earner of more than $500,000, Smooth As A Cat went on to leave his mark far beyond the show pen through generations of talented offspring. Nearly two decades later, this picture still says it all: cow, grit and a whole lot of Smooth.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the strength of a nation that came together.

25 years later, we still remember. We still honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Tommy and Chris Manion with Scrapy and Candy. Some things never change - good dogs, good people, and a love for the ranch life.

A throwback of Tommy and Layne, just two cowboys having a conversation.
The best kind of legacy is the one passed down one generation at a time.

Wishing this awesome kid a school year full of big adventures, new friendships, lots of learning, and plenty of reasons to smile. We couldn’t be more proud of you, Layne, and we can’t wait to see all the great things this year has in store.

Here’s to an amazing first day and an even better fourth-grade year! 📚
