As the owner, I want to take a moment today to personally recognize and thank the coaches who help make Davis Martial Arts what it is.

A martial arts academy doesn’t run because of one person. It takes a team of coaches who are willing to show up, put in the work, teach, train, encourage, and invest in our students day after day. I’m incredibly thankful for every coach who has chosen to be part of this team and for everything you do for our students and our academy.

I know the time, effort, and sacrifice that goes into coaching, and I don’t take any of it for granted. I’m proud to have each of you on our mats and grateful for the role you play in helping us build something special. 🥋

🥉 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PODIUM! 🥋🔥

What a performance by David at the IBJJF World Championships!

David battled through the toughest competition in the world and finished 3rd place in a 20 man bracket at Worlds! 🥉🌎

We couldn’t be more proud of the work, dedication, and heart he showed today. This is another huge accomplishment and another step forward in his journey.

The work continues. 💪

We’ve completely redone our kids room to create a clean, comfortable, and fun space where kids can hang out while you get your training in.

🥋 Wednesday Night NoGi BJJ & MMA

Wednesday nights at Davis Martial Arts are all about pressure, pace, and putting your skills to the test.

One of the many things that sets us apart from other schools in the area is the coaching you get on the mat. Our NoGi BJJ & MMA class is taught by a 3rddegree Carlos Machado Black Belt and former professional fighter.

That means our students aren’t just learning techniques. They’re learning how to apply them against resistance, under pressure, and in a real fight.

Yesterday we had the privilege of hosting another training session for the Aubrey Police Department. 👮‍♂️🥋

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is getting to work with these officers every six months for dedicated training but our partnership goes beyond those scheduled sessions. Aubrey PD officers also receive regular, ongoing training with us throughout the year.

A special shout out to West End Combatives. We really enjoy partnering with them and getting additional training opportunities outside of our main police training segments. Having great training partners who are committed to keeping officers prepared makes what we do even better.

We’re incredibly proud to be the Official Training Center for Aubrey PD and to play a small part in helping equip the men and women who serve our community with the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.

Serving those who serve our community is an honor. 🇺🇸
