🦃⛳ 88 TURKEYS. $11,200 IN DONATIONS. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY. ❤️

Yesterday, we hosted our 5th Annual Turkey Trot Scramble at Timber Trace Golf Club, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible turnout and generosity of everyone involved.

This is, without question, our favorite event of the year. Not because of the golf, the competition, or even the Fireball, apple c***r, and caramel drizzle that kept everyone warm! 🍎🥃

It’s our favorite because of what this event represents.

Every year, our Timber Trace family comes together for something much bigger than golf. It’s an opportunity to give back, help our neighbors, and make a real difference for families in our community who need a little extra support.

And this year, you all delivered in a BIG way!

🦃 88 frozen turkeys donated

❤️ $11,200 in monetary donations

All benefiting the incredible work of Gleaners Community Food Bank and LACASA Center.

To every golfer who participated, every person who donated, every volunteer who helped, and every member of our staff who worked to make yesterday possible — THANK YOU.

When the new ownership group took over Timber Trace, our vision was to build more than just a great golf course. We wanted to create a place where people come together, build friendships, and feel like they’re part of something special.

Yesterday was a perfect reminder of what makes this place so special. It’s not just the course. It’s the people.

We’ve got a whole lot of pictures to share from an unforgettable day, so take a look, tag your friends, and help us celebrate everyone who made this year’s Turkey Trot such a success!

From all of us at Timber Trace, thank you for showing up, giving back, and making a difference.

We can’t wait to do it again next year! ❤️🦃⛳

⛳🌱 AERATION IS IN FULL SWING AT TIMBER TRACE!

A lot of work goes into keeping our fairways in great shape, and our grounds crew has been hard at work this past week performing fall aerification!

We’re tackling two holes per day, taking the time to do the job right. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the process:

🚜 Step 1: Aerify the fairways, pulling plugs of soil to relieve compaction and improve airflow, water absorption, and root growth.

☀️ Step 2: Allow the plugs to dry before verticutting to break them apart.

💨 Step 3: Use blowers to clear away excess debris.

🌱 Step 4: Mow the fairways in the opposite direction to clean everything up.

💦 Step 5: Finish with some water to help the turf recover.

Aerification might make things look a little messy temporarily, but it’s one of the most important things we do to maintain healthy turf and great playing conditions for the long haul.

A huge thank you to our hardworking grounds crew! 👏 These are the guys putting in the hours behind the scenes to keep Timber Trace looking better year after year.

We’re always working to make Timber Trace the best it can be, and that commitment doesn’t stop when the golf season starts winding down!
