Clubhouse walkthrough with Kyle continues, Pt. 2

What used to be the center of the old dining room is becoming our new centralized bar, and the view is the star. It looks right out over the 18th, one of the best views in town, and now members get to take it in from an elevated vantage point.

From there, we're standing in what you'll remember as the old golf shop. See the fireplace behind Kyle? That whole space is being transformed into the players room, an extension of the dining space. The renderings show it best: mirrors, green tones, and details that all come together beautifully.

And yes, that incredible view carries through here too.

Every great club is built by the people behind it. And each one has a story worth telling. First up: DJ McClellan, Superintendent over our Magnolia and Azalea courses.

DJ's path to Pinewild started in the field, literally. His roots are in agriculture, working the to***co and cotton fields before turning his knowledge of the land toward turf. That led him to the USGA Greenkeeper Apprenticeship Program, and eventually, here to Pinewild.

This fall, he's especially excited about the native restoration work taking shape across the course. Bringing natural beauty and healthier landscapes back to the property he cares for every day.

Once the sand is down, the work continues. Brushing it into the surface so it settles evenly, then a full watering with the big sprinklers to work it in and set the green. The result? Smoother, healthier, truer greens across every course, week after week.

Step inside the new Pinewild Clubhouse with Kyle.

First stop: the porte-cochère. A covered entry we've never had before. Now members and guests can arrive shielded from the rain, sun, and whatever the weather's doing, right up to the front doors. It's a small thing that makes a big difference in how it feels to pull up to the club.

Just past it, look closely at the foyer walls. What reads as clean paneling in the elevations? Those panels actually open up for hidden storage. Think a hostess station tucked away for evening events, plus space we simply never had in the old clubhouse.

It's the kind of thoughtful, behind-the-scenes detail that makes the whole space work harder for our members.
