Thanks again everyone for another Sunday Scramble! We finally got a full round in! We tried last week but unfortunately the rain got the best of us after probably 3 holes and a power outage. 🌞 Sunday Shamble Recap – August 9th, 2026

Another sun‑splashed Sunday at Mainlands, another round of two‑person Shamble antics where the drives fly free, the irons tell the truth, and the putters reveal who slept well the night before.

🏆 First Place — Jeremy & Cameron (-6) A blistering six‑under performance that looked suspiciously like two men who decided Sunday was for domination. Their reward: $14.33 each in club credit, deposited and ready for whatever retail therapy their victory demands.

🥈 Second Place — Tom & Thomas McCann (-1) Father and son proving once again that genetics can be a competitive advantage. A tidy one‑under earns them $8.60 each and bragging rights at the dinner table.

🥉 Third Place — Alan & Jose (E) Even par, even keel, even money — $5.73 each in club credit for a steady round that kept them in the mix all afternoon.

🎯 Closest to the Pin – Hole #17 A precision strike from Tom McCann, who parked it closer than anyone else dared. A moment of surgical golf in the middle of a shamble‑fest.

Another great turnout, another great Sunday. Same time next week — 4pm — where the drives will once again be communal, and the consequences will once again be personal.

Thanks again everyone for another Sunday Scramble! The three-club challenge was a challenge to say the least and that was reflected with this week’s scores. It’s all about strategy! Although it was quite hot outside, we had a lot of people wanting to try and challenge themselves with this format. Don’t worry, next week will be a lot less challenging. Next week will be a Shamble format, but everyone will be teeing off from the red tees! We may be closer to the green but remember it’s all about the putting!
