Two in the box and ready to go. Excited to get our season started this weekend with twin 50’s at Auburndale Speedway.

As 2023 comes to a close I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who helped make this season possible. It was definitely one of my best. In 8 races we were able to set fast time at 4 different tracks, picked up a win at Cordele, and I think the worst I finished all year was 5th (excluding a DQ at Auburndale, and a DNF at Citrus when the engine broke). We were a threat to win every race we unloaded, even on nights the car wasn’t where I wanted it, and as a driver there’s not much more you can ask for.

Thank you to my parents and grandpa, Morgan and Billy Birch, Lightning Racing Oil, Trowell’s Bobcat, Rick’s Chassis Works, Guy Theis, Candie and Troy Robinson, The Gorhams, and Josh Gorniak.

Our first race of 2024 will be at Showtime on January 13th for leg 2 of the triple crown.

Quick time and drew a 1. Didn’t get any practice, left rear wedge bolt mount broke when I pulled on the track for practice. My dad and grandpa busted ass to get it fixed. 50 laps, we’ll see what we can do

Work pays off. I haven’t sent Troy to the track with the same thing twice since I’ve started helping him, and we’re finally starting to get the speed out of the car. Light field but some good cars and brings it home 2nd with the fastest lap of the race.

Well our first experience as a competitor has come to an end. I definitely have mixed feelings about the weekend, qualified 24th and finished 13th with a Right Rear tire going flat the last 8 laps. It was awesome to be on track during the most prestigious weekend in short track racing; disappointed with my performance on track though. This is an entirely different animal than anything we have back home and I just didn’t bring a good package and lacked speed. An hour practice wasn’t enough time to get where we needed to be, but I think I have a good idea what we need when we come back. There are so many people who made this weekend possible, I really can’t say thank you enough; to my crew at the track and all the sponsors who came on board for this weekend. We’ve got one more for the year at 4-17 on 12/17.

What a night! Finally put everything together and got it done! It’s been a long time coming and we earned it. Set fast time started 6th rolled to the lead on lap 13 and just strolled, the car was on absolute rails tonight. So glad I had so much of my family here for the first one! Man this makes all the long hours in the shop, all the close ones that got away, all the frustrations worth it! Everyone knows I’ve been after this first one in a modified for a long while and man I forgot how good this feels!

I can’t say thank you enough to everyone that helps me and that was here tonight!

Qualified and started 4th Saturday night; finished 3rd. Rode in 3rd the first 25 laps, drove to the lead so I could set my own pace to try and save tires. Led about 35 laps and fell back to third around lap 60. I just didn’t do a good enough job at saving tires and really wasn’t too happy with the car all weekend.

Next up is 75 laps at Showtime this coming weekend. I set fast time and had a really good car last time we were there before getting caught up in a wreck.

Thank you to everyone who supports this deal and helps me
