A little BTS, behind the scenes of rehearsals for Snowflake's Got Talent!

There were 5 rounds in total over 1.5 months. 

We didn't have much rehearsal time.

I also didn't give myself much either trying to fit in everything possible into the days leading up to the holidays. 😆

My sisters sang and played music for 3 rounds and danced for 2. I hoop danced every round and added a singing intro to #4.

For my 1st dance, it was mostly free style. (No video of rehearsal) I practiced outside, I came up with the style and certain moves I wanted to use in different parts of the song, and then I listened to it on repeat while doing other things. 

For round 2, the weather is bad, and often after work, it would already be dark. I practiced some inside my little apartment, but there wasn't enough space to practice the dance fully. So, mostly, I visualized, choreographed, and practiced in my head while listening to the song about a hundred times. 

I never fully physically did the dance the whole way through until I was on the stage!

Then, for round 3, my sisters decided to dance and decided to rent studio space! We all went in on it together. 

It was amazing and so needed 😅 💗

I had forgotten how much I missed dancing in a studio. I had so much fun exercising my creativity, my body, mind, and spirit, sharing my craft, and I loved creating and sharing auditorium performances!
