Great seminar last weekend with Master John Sepulvida. When I first was introduced to American Kenpo I attended a seminar at BWKS with John Sepulvida teaching. It was technically my very first lesson and I was hooked from that very first day.

Getting to know him over the years to be the kindest most caring and humble man I have ever met. His wealth of knowledge and experience has been a huge part of shaping me into the practitioner I am today.

What an awesome experience to be present when Tom Bleeker was promoted to his 10th by Chuck Sullivan.

Early in my Kenpo journey there was a time I was going to walk away from the art?

Mr.Bleeker saw this and followed me into the parking lot. What he shared with me that day not only kept me on my journey, but also became a huge lesson I would carry through life.

Many times over the years I have felt like giving up, every time I would remember his words he said to me that day and draw on that lesson for strength.

Over the years I’ve watched him support the entire Kenpo community, especially my instructor Mr. White .

Always humble, never asking for anything for himself? Always giving, always supporting others and lifting them up. Always sharing the history of where this all started and keeping the flame burning.

I am so blessed to have known you Tom….
