Summer Trap League Wrap-Up!

Wednesday, August 26th wrapped up our Summer Trap League with a shoot-off, followed by a fun round of Annie Oakley. Congratulations to Justin Schroyer, our Annie Oakley winner! 🏆👏

You can also sign up at our Open Trap Shoot on Saturday (29th), from 6:00 - 8:00. If you need to shoot ahead for Fall League, you can do that at the Open Trap Shoot as well.

The Pipestone Sportsmen’s Club is hosting a shortened Fall Trap League, wrapping up before harvest season begins.

• Wednesdays 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• September 2 - October 7 (6 weeks)

Cost per round (25 shots)
• Club Members: $7.50
• Non-Members: $10.00
10 round punch cards are available for convenience and savings.

Ammunition requirements:
• Shells must not exceed 1250 FPS
• No steel shot

Ladies Night just keeps getting better every week!

Last week, we welcomed four new ladies! Two drove from Sioux Falls, one came from Slayton, and some even brought their husbands along to watch and help. One of our new shooters had never shot a shotgun before in her life—and now she's hooked! We also welcomed a shooter from Edgerton who hadn't shot in years.

Others in our group includes women from Florence, the Ward area, and, of course, Pipestone area. We have a great mix of ages and experience levels, making it a fun and encouraging environment for everyone.

If you'd like some coaching, one of our fantastic volunteers will be happy to help. If you'd rather shoot on your own, that's great too! Everyone is simply trying to improve their own score—you're never competing against anyone else. We encourage and support each other every step of the way.

If you've been thinking about coming but haven't yet, now's the time! There are three weeks left, and our schedule is flexible. Come once or join us for the remaining weeks. If you can't make it by 6:00 p.m., just come when you can. We shoot rounds of 25, so you can shoot one round, two rounds, or even more.

Not ready to shoot? No problem! Bring a lawn chair, relax, and watch the fun.

We'll see you this Thursday, July 30, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.!

Open Trap Shooting Event

Join us for Men's & Women's Open Trap Shooting on Saturday, July 18, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Members $7.50/round, non-members $10/round.

Whether you're practicing for league or just looking to shoot a few rounds, everyone is welcome!

A pattern board will be available if you'd like to pattern your shotgun.

Come enjoy an evening at the range and have fun breaking clays!

Ladies Trap continues every Thursday at the Pipestone Sportsmen's Club range now through August 13!

This past Thursday was a beautiful evening for clay shooting. We had a small group of ladies, which meant more shooting, more one-on-one coaching with our instructors, and more time to sharpen our skills. Most importantly, we had a blast breaking clays—some in the air... and some when they hit the ground! 🤣🤗

We'd love to see even more new shooters join us next Thursday, July 16, and in the weeks ahead. Whether you're brand new to the sport or looking to improve your skills, everyone is welcome. Come out, have fun, meet some great people, and break a few clays with us!
