Future Pittsboro, NC Skatepark

Grassroots effort to bring support and attention to the growing demand and need for a concrete skatepark in Pittsboro, NC!

UPDATE!! On March 11, Supporters of the Pittsboro Skatepark came together to update the Board of Commissioners on the 501C3’s fundraising progress. Committed members of the community spoke out in support of the project and we are excited that our voices were heard! The Town overwhelmingly supports the goal and has committed $45k initially and more to come after the Pittsboro Skatepark meets with designers, builders and the Town to confirm the final design scope, plan and budget. Thank you to everyone who came to show their support and especially to everyone who stood at the podium and told their story. Special shout out to @jon.reyes and 13 year old powerhouse Nehemiah for speaking up!!!

REMINDER!!! Please join us Monday night at 6 pm at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center to show the Town of Pittsboro we want and need their support to get a public skatepark built in downtown! Your voice and appearance at the meeting will make a difference!
