Have you wanted to try disc golf and didn't know where to start? Did you try it by yourself and totally flopped? Here's your chance to get started right. The team at Burlington's Play It Again Sports is providing this beginner's fundamentals course. All necessary equipment will be provided.

This course is suitable for all ages of beginners. Intermediate players could also benefit from the review of these core competencies.

The course will be held at Cedarock Park. Please park in the large gravel lot on the left. The group will gather in the large open field just across the main road. Contact (336) 229-2410 with any questions.

The One Pittsboro Parks & Recreation System Master Plan charts a course for a sustainable future for Pittsboro Parks.

One key recommendation was to continue to develop and improve existing parks and provide master plans for each existing park. Rock Ridge Park's initial master plan included two bathrooms, another playground, a multi use field, additional paved parking and a paved entrance road.
