Just popping back on this old page (shop still closed) to ask everyone to help support C.A.R.E. and the great work they do in Chatham. Bonus bike ride!

Lots of used parts up for grabs in front of the shop. I picked through most of the best stuff for my own collection, but there are still a few interesting gems and plenty of usable old parts. I'll have artists and/or metal scrappers come get what y'all don't want. Almost all of these parts are still rideable, so artists please give people time to see if they need this stuff for their bikes.

It's with a heavy heart that I announced that I'll be closing Pittsboro Bicycles permanently.

There were some amazing things I experienced during my time in Pittsboro. The community, the woods, the Haw, and the feral cats have all been bright spots in my life. Shout out to Julia, Brian, Lou, Tim, Bridgett, Dennis, Lacey, Hank, Andreas, Sean, Glenn, Will (rip), Robby, Elizabeth, Will, Kentrell, Vernon, Junior, Alex, and everyone else who's made me smile when they walked through the door. Shout out to Rob, Jason, and Tamara, my old coworkers and friends who provided validation and emotional support when business was stressful.

And the biggest shout out of all goes to my partner Claire who designed the logo and did all the initial marketing.
