This week's render to reality is the Town of Salemburg's Love McDaniel Memorial Park. John Barrs worked with the Town to design this space, the Town's first park. Funding for this space came from a mix of private donations from Earl McDaniel in honor of his grandfather and grandmother and Parks and Recreation Trust funding.

Barrs Recreations' redesign of Yancey County's Kid Mountain Park began after the storm. It has been our honor to be a part of something positive after the devastation that came through the area.

Our team is often asked, "What is the best surfacing?" We can't identify a best surfacing, as all play spaces are different- different maintenance teams, goals, budgets, and surrounding environments. Our team will work with you to decide what the best surfacing is for you and your playground!
