Good morning 🌞🌞🌞

My daughter finally asked if she could ride with me.

I smiled the whole way home.

She probably thinks I was smiling because of the snow.

**POV: This trail holds a memory I'll never forget.**

To most people, it's just another snowmobile trail.

A few miles of snow.

Tall pine trees.

Fresh mountain air.

But every time I ride through here...

I remember one perfect winter afternoon.

No phones.

No schedule.

No rush to be anywhere.

Just the sound of two engines echoing through the forest and laughter that carried farther than the snow.

I didn't realize it then, but those ordinary moments would become the ones I'd treasure the most.

Life has changed.

People have changed.

Some faces are no longer beside me.

Yet every winter, this trail reminds me that happiness was never about having more.

It was about being there—with the right people.

Some trails lead you somewhere.

Others lead you back to the people you miss the most.

❄️ What's one place that instantly brings back a memory you never want to lose?

After one of the hardest years of my life...

The first snowfall felt like a fresh start.

I rode alone today.

No conversations.

Just fresh snow, cold air, and a quiet mind.

Sometimes that's exactly what I need.

: No GPS, no cell service, just a paper map and pure adventure! 🗺️🌲

Take a look at this shot from the Pittsburg trails back in the 80s. Heavy one-piece suits, vintage sleds, and late-night rides through the deep woods. It was a different era, but the camaraderie was exactly the same as it is today.

Who remembers these days? If you’re in this photo or rode back then, drop a comment and tell us your favorite memory! ⬇️

I almost sold my sled last year.

I'm glad I didn't.

Some things are worth holding onto.

**POV: I promised my dad I'd never stop riding this trail.**

The first time I came here, I wasn't the one driving.

I was just a kid, holding on tight while my dad pointed at the mountains and said,

*"One day, this trail will be yours."*

Back then, I thought he was talking about the snowmobile.

Now I know he was talking about something much bigger.

He taught me to respect the mountains.

To slow down and enjoy the quiet.

To wave at every rider we passed.

To always make it home before dark.

Years later, he's no longer riding beside me.

But every winter, I come back.

I park in the same place.

I follow the same tracks.

And before I start the engine, I smile and whisper,

*"Don't worry, Dad... I kept my promise."*

Some traditions aren't passed down with words.

They're passed down one ride at a time.

❤️ If someone taught you to love the outdoors, tell them thank you while you still can.

A small cabin in the middle of nowhere kept us warm that night.

Sometimes it's not the destination...

It's the people waiting inside.

The trail doesn't exist anymore.

Nature eventually reclaimed it.

But every winter...

I still remember every turn.
